Undergraduate
Opportunities for Community-based Research and Design
The
Office of Fellowships and Undergraduate Research provides opportunities for
undergraduate students to work together with faculty and Houston-based partners
on research and design projects that address real-world problems and issues
facing the Houston community. We promote
coursework and individual research and design projects that enable students to
acquire sound research skills and to use those skills in solving community
problems. We offer opportunities for
undergraduate students from every discipline to get involved in on-going,
faculty-directed research and design efforts that extend beyond the hedges, and
to develop and execute their own independent, community-based projects.
